Husker Football is a hallmark of the UNL experience and tailgating is an iconic part of football season. Since 2021, Big Red Resilience & Well-being and the Collegiate Recovery Community have hosted sober tailgates for students seeking an alcohol-free experience.

Sober tailgates typically consist of food, fun non-alcoholic beverages and lawn games such as cornhole.

The tailgates are held during various home game days throughout the football season, so keep an eye on the events page and follow our Instagram to see when upcoming tailgates will take place.
