(he, him, his)
Junior in Psychology from Kearney, Nebraska

I was born and raised in Kearney, Nebraska so I’ve always been a big Husker fan. I have one older brother and a Saint Bernard dog named Duke. In my free time I enjoy listening to music, watching TV, playing video games, and playing basketball at the Rec. I also help lead a youth group at Hope Community Church with middle and high school aged kids.

I became a peer coach because of my own struggles that I went through during freshman year. I remember wishing I had a resource like well-being coaching, and I think it would’ve helped me a lot. I wanted to be able to help other students like me, so they don’t have to deal with their problems alone. I think well-being coaching can create a positive change on campus that I want to be a part of.

Well-being is important because it can influence all aspects of your life. Being well is a vital part of living a happy and healthy life.

Playing basketball and exercising can be a great de-stressor, but I also find that just laying back and putting in some headphones can really help me relax. Lighting some good smelling candles, listening to some relaxing music and just chilling in my room is probably my favorite way to recharge.
